Steel Roofing Sheets
Anti-Condensation Roofing Sheets
Product 02 — Anti-Condensation

No Moisture.No Drips.
No Worry.

Factory-applied fleece backing that captures and holds moisture until conditions allow it to safely evaporate — keeping your building, livestock and equipment perfectly dry.

What Are Anti-Condensation Sheets?

Alpha Steel's anti-condensation roofing sheets are specially designed panels that prevent moisture build-up on the underside of metal roofs. During temperature changes, standard metal sheets can cause condensation to form — which may drip onto stored goods, equipment or livestock.

Our sheets solve this problem by incorporating a factory-applied absorbent fleece backing. Ideal for agricultural buildings, warehouses, garages, workshops, carports and industrial units.

Anti-Condensation Fleece Backing Prevents Dripping Onto Goods & Livestock Corrosion-Resistant High-Quality Steel Low Maintenance — Long Service Life Multiple Profiles, Colours & Lengths
How It Works

A simple three-step process that keeps your building dry and protected year-round

01
Temperature Changes

During temperature fluctuations, standard metal sheets cause moisture in the air to condense on the cold underside of the roof.

02
Fleece Absorption

Our factory-applied absorbent fleece backing immediately captures and holds the moisture before it can drip onto stored goods or equipment.

03
Safe Evaporation

When conditions allow, the captured moisture safely evaporates — maintaining a consistently dry and protected interior environment.

FAQ

Box Profile
Steel Roofing
Sheets

Answers to the most common questions about our AS 33/1000 Box Profile roofing sheets — from installation to longevity and finishes.

01 What is a Box Profile roofing sheet? xx

A Box Profile sheet is a steel roofing panel with a trapezoidal ribbed profile. Our AS 33/1000 has a 33mm rib height and a 1000mm effective cover width, making it one of the most widely used roofing profiles in the UK for industrial, commercial and agricultural buildings.

02 How long do Box Profile roofing sheets last? xx

With proper installation and maintenance, our Box Profile sheets can last 25 years or more. Plastisol-coated sheets come with a 25-year guarantee, while Polyester-coated sheets carry a 15-year guarantee — both offering excellent long-term value.

03 What is the difference between Box Profile and Corrugated sheets? xx

Box Profile sheets have a flat-topped trapezoidal rib that provides a cleaner, more modern industrial appearance and greater structural rigidity. Corrugated sheets feature a traditional wave-form profile that is slightly more flexible. Both are suitable for roofing and cladding, though Box Profile is generally preferred for larger commercial and industrial spans.

04 Can Box Profile sheets be used for both roofing and wall cladding? xx

Yes — our AS 33/1000 Box Profile sheets are suitable for both roof and wall applications. They can be installed vertically or horizontally for wall cladding, delivering the same weather protection and professional finish on facades as they do on roofs.

05 What fixing pattern should I use for Box Profile sheets? xx

For roofing, fixings should be applied through the crown of the rib at every purlin. For wall cladding, fix through the pan (trough) of the sheet. Always use the correct self-drilling, self-tapping screws with EPDM washers to ensure a watertight seal. Contact our team for project-specific fixing guidance.

06 What colours and coatings are available? xx

Our Box Profile sheets are available in a wide range of colours including Anthracite, Graphite Black, Olive Green, Leather Grey and White. They come in three coating options — Galvanised, Polyester (gloss or matt, up to 15-year guarantee) and Plastisol (textured leather-grain finish, up to 25-year guarantee).
