1 Does Flashing come in various sizes?

Yes, our flashing pieces can be trimmed to size, meaning that you can request any flashing length that you require. Please let us know, and we will cut the pieces to your sizes.

2Is there a limit to how much flashings I can buy?

No, there is no limit to flashing purchases. At Alpha Steel, you can even make a bulk buy containing vast flashing pieces.

3Does flashing last for many years?

Yes, just like our steel roofing sheets, the material we use for flashing is not only durable, but also resistant to vast weather conditions, rust, and aging. With our flashing, you have the guarantee for them to last you for a generation, or more.

4Will flashings protect my structure against the elements?

Yes. Our flashing is made in such a way that it prevents any wind, rain, hail or snow from getting in between the roofing sheets. Combined with the mastic lapping tape, and your flashing will be virtually impregnable, which is ideal for any building based in the UK.

5Will I get advice as to how much flashing I will require?

We will try our best to estimate the amount for you, provided you bring your building plans to our office. You may also email us to request an estimation of material required for your project. However, please bear in mind that our estimations may not be accurate.

6Can I apply flashing by myself?

Absolutely - the procedure is very simple, and the product is made in such a way that it is easy to mount and install. If you ever require instructions, please get in touch with us - we will either explain everything in person, or send you a visual guide via Youtube.

7Does steel roofing flashing come in many colours?

So far, we only have four colours available for flashing, to match the colours of our roofing sheets: Anthracite, Graphite Black, Olive Green or White. Despite that, in the incoming future we will try our best to expand that colour range, hopefully providing a wide palette of hues, shades and colours. A variety, enabling everyone to pick something for themselves.
